I am very new to all of this, so i was just wondering.....how authenticate is the information on the FDA calender......i mean could i use that as my basis to invest few dollars into those companies that are quoted on the calender?
please help me!
Just google the company name and you should be able to confirm when the application in question was filed for review. From that date you can then deduce the date of the approval.
Made me think of this quote I came accross years ago:
". . . Google is you best friend on-line and he knows everything . . ."
Thinkorswim, ok is not that cheap but very user friendly and great customer service
Hmm talking about shorting!!!
Do you guys think shorting is more profitable or less risky? I am new and in the google finance forum I found that everybody hates shorter.
Hi,
As per my knowledge IB (Interactive Brokers) was the best broker for shorting. They offer Forex market also with the same account. You just need marginal account for shorting. I think their minimum balance for opening an account was little bit high ($10000).
You can see the list of shortable stocks in IB here.....

Zecco is good for Volume trading below $1
Sogotrade is good for stocks above $1
You can double check the dates through a google search or seeking alpha and biomed reports...just because they are scheduled, doesnt mean they will announce...look at poor HEB.
